Dumb Horse
My grandfather trains horses. It's more of a hobby, I guess.
It's took me two weeks to look through the few (crappola) images I got from that day, because, in just seconds from taking these shots, the horse threw my son off. He fell flat on his back, knocking the air out of him and both shoes off of his feet. Being on the other side of the fence, I watched in terror as hooves landed just inches from my sons stomach.
I am so deeply thankful it was inches and not his stomach.
The horse didn't want him on his butt, apparently. Not trained so well yet...
He was shaken and sore for a week, but he is okay.
I must admit, watching my son almost be trampled has dampened the affection I had for horses.
