Remembering when...

The Snow Family

Please meet the Snow family. I was recently reunited with my friend, Summer, from junior high school through cyber space and Sunday we took pictures. It was a good time. :)

We had a very spontaneous shoot last night. Could have been better, but there were a couple of cute ones. Wish I would have had my other light. Isn't my son just adorable? :)

Lloyd

Sunday I had a shoot with Lloyd. I probably made every mistake I probably could have. I'm not sure what the deal was. Must have been the day. Even he couldn't remember how to get to my house, though he's been here countless times. This shoot was so disappointing. Here are a couple that didn't completely suck, but I am definitely not happy with them.

We rescheduled. Hopefully, my new, non exploded light will be here by then.

I needed to play with the lights yesterday. I needed a boost. I didn't get anything totally fabulous, but I did capture my babies in the cuteness. After this shot of Joey, I turned Moby Play on and they both went into dance mode.
Then one of my lights exploded. Well not really, but it made a little missal sound then started smoking. It got shipped back today.

I said YES!

I am such a lucky woman. Maybe we did everything backwards, but it worked. I can not begin to express the love I have for him.

It's been pretty uneventful since the last time I posted. I've been sick, or struck by allergies, not quite sure really. Even lost my voice for a bit. You'd be surprised to find that children really do not respond to whistling... or maybe you wouldn't.
A tornado hit up the street from me and it looks like there was a nice amount of damage. I wouldn't know first hand though, because I haven't actually been out of the house other than to pick up Joey from school. Yes, I am lame.

I'm starting a project 52 and this is my first image. Nothing extravagant, just something that is slightly interesting to me.

My lovely sister.

Meet Jenny. If you've followed me at all in other places, you know this is my first real practice shoot with the new lighting. I wanted to put it here as the beginning of the progression. I fully intend on getting better. These are the best, I think out of the bunch.

I don't like the composition of this one, but I like how the light came out.

The lighting could be better here, but I still like it.


I think I really like everything about this one. It's a great shot of the silly my baby sister is. I just love her!

Hello to all who may be reading and welcome to my first real blog! I am not exactly sure what will come of this, but I thought it would be fun way to show off my work and watch my progress... and whatever else I decide to do.
